Take a look at our planned route. While we think this is the way we're
going to go, we're subject to the whims of the Bus, the weather, the
Busmen, and the countries we're passing through.
Rough Itinerary
April 4 - Travel from York, UK to Hull, UK catch ferry to
Rotterdam, Netherlands
April 5 - Rotterdam to Paris to Nice (yea, right - that's a long
drive in one day!)
April 6 - Nice - recuperate after long punishing drive
April 7 - Drive to Genoa, Italy
April 8 - Drive to Venice, Italy
April 9 - Drive thru Trieste, Slovenia into Split, Croatia
April 10 - Drive to Sofia, Bulgaria
April 11 - Drive to Zonguldak, Turkey
April 12 - Drive to Batumi, Turkey via Trabzon, Turkey
April 13 - Drive to Tslisi, Georgia
April 14 and 15th - While in Tslisi, some folks from
The Diamohk Dance Company
(www.diamohk.org.uk) will come to meet us and we will
deliver the bus. We felt that travel into Chechnya at this time
would be too risky.
After delivering the bus and a little celebration, we will try to
sort out how to get back to Istanbul and then on to the UK via train
or plane.
